Steven was amazing from the start of the process all the way to the finish! We felt from the beginning that he was genuinely interested in capturing our day and was willing to do anything which included - traveling out of state for engagement shots, standing in the rain to get amazing wedding day photos and also working a ridiculously long wedding day (which happened to be a holiday)! Steven was so easy to get along with and our pictures are incredible!! I have zero reservations recommending Steven for the best wedding photography experience in Pittsburgh!

Steven Dalton Photography is truly a dream wedding photographer. He was professional, answered everything quickly, and worked under time and location constraints with ease. As a gay couple, we were worried about finding a photographer and Steve NEVER made it an issue whatsoever. He was definitely the best photographer we've worked with!

We first came across Steve’s name as he was listed as one of our venue’s preferred/recommended vendors. From our first meeting over FaceTime (we were planning our wedding across the country!), we knew immediately that Steve was going to be our guy for our big day- right off the bat, we could tell that not only is he professional, detail-oriented, and organized, but he was truly interested in getting to know us as a couple and what we envisioned for our wedding day. He made it a priority to help us to feel comfortable throughout the process, which was something very important to me. My husband and I were so excited to be working with Steven, and he exceeded all of our expectations. He is communicative, efficient, hilarious, and EXTREMELY talented. Our wedding photos are photos that we will cherish for our lifetime together. They turned out so amazing! Steve was able to capture so many unique shots, and got us our pictures so quickly (we were itching to see them and they did not disappoint). If you are looking for a photographer that puts so much care, heart, and time into his craft, makes you feel at ease when being photographed, and makes his passion for photography so evident- then Steven is your guy! Our wedding party and guests complimented him so much throughout the day; he truly made working with him an amazing experience and I can’t recommend him enough. My only regret was not posting this review sooner!! Steven had expressed to us that one of his favorite things to do is continuing to photograph his wedding couples as they begin to grow their families; we can’t wait to work with him again once we are at that point to take family photos with our future children. We are so thankful our paths crossed with him and that he photographed our special day.

Steven was so professional from our intro call with him through every aspect of our wedding day. He made sure we got every shot we wanted and brought his own expertise to get some we hadn't even thought of. He helped wrangle family members and keep us on track, all while delivering the most beautiful images we could have dreamt of. thank you times a million to Steven and his team!

Steve did an incredible job with our spring engagement and winter wedding photos. Throughout the entire process he was communicative and professional. Steve has a natural ability to capture candid moments and to hone in on our style and personalities. He also is very good at directing photos for larger groups including wedding party/family and staying on schedule. We were so thrilled with all of the photos we received, and we couldn't have imagined anything better. Steve comes highly recommended.

Steven did an AMAZING job with our first look and wedding photos! The pictures are so beautiful! Steven was very professional and personable. He made us feel relaxed and comfortable during our photo shoot. He was also very patient and did an amazing job waiting for the right light and for pedestrians to walk by. We had a non-traditional wedding where we took the first look photos weeks in advance of our wedding. Steven was very accommodating to our first look request and even came up with unique and non-traditional locations for our photo shoot. My favorite photo is on our roof overlooking downtown Pittsburgh. Steven was very patient and waited until dusk. He captured a stunning and totally romantic picture of me and my love.

Steve goes above and beyond to make sure your day is captured perfectly. His photography skills are incredible and his personality matches. In the midst of the pandemic, he was flexible and accommodating. We can't wait to work with him again for our postponed reception in 2021!

Where to begin? Steve is so incredible, not just as an artist/photographer, but as a professional. He is highly responsive and easy to work with. And his talent is amazing. I'm so happy that we got to use him for our scaled-down COVID wedding ceremony. We made a VERY last minute decision to say our vows this fall rather than waiting until mid-2021 to do it all, and Steve truly made the day better for us. We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer for our wedding day. Steven did a fantastic job catching every special moment from the day. He was easy to work with, made us feel comfortable, and somehow incorporated our personalities into every photo. He truly has a passion for photography and it shows in his work. The best! We lucked into finding the perfect person to be our photographer. We met Steve at our friend’s wedding and from the moment my husband – one of the groomsmen- met him he was set on Steve being our photographer. For my husband who hates taking pictures to say that I knew Steve had to be good. We are two of the least photogenic people but Steve made us feel so comfortable and at ease and actually made us enjoy the experience. He took our engagement pictures and was there to capture our wedding day from start to finish. With every photo he took he captured our personalities and they turned out perfect! Steve is amazing to work with & we are so happy! Reasonably priced, very professional, pleasant, and great photography style. Our engagement and wedding pictures came out just the way we wanted it. My husband and I had 2 weddings in 1 day - a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony & American Ceremony/reception - and Steve did it all and worked with us along the way. He brought an assistant with him as well. The picture turnaround for the wedding was impeccably quick, despite the crazy busy schedule he had going on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for any wedding couple who is looking for a photographer. My husband and I can’t say enough about Steven Dalton Photography. We hired him for our engagement session, after much careful research. When we met with him, we were absolutely hooked on not only his beautiful work, but his friendly, creative and whitty personality. Photography was single-handedly THE MOST IMPORTANT vendors of my wedding day and Steven absolutely blew it out of the water. He kept the day running smoothly from start to finish. We had an amazing experience working with Steve at our wedding and recommend him to everyone looking for a photographer! He takes the time to meet with you and make sure he captures all of the pictures you want and more. Steve went above and beyond to get candid shots and has such a great eye for what will be an amazing photo; at one point Steve was even laying on the ground outside to get some amazing shots!! If you haven’t hired a photographer yet do yourself a favor and hire Steve. He is incredibly talented and a joy to work with. Both our wedding and engagement photos turned out better than we could have imagined. His portrait photography is works of art. I’m very glad we invested in a great photographer.
